219-221 West Broughton Street provides loft style living in the busy retail and commercial district of Savannah. Hansen Architects completed the meticulous restoration of the original Savannah Sears Department Store, built in the 1880’s. The facade was restored with elements that were once seen on the historic Sears Department Store. The redevelopment includes over 20,000 s.f. of retail and commercial use as well as over 10,000 s.f. of residential loft style apartments. This Historic Preservation project won the Preservation Award from the Historic Savannah Foundation in 2009.
