THE GROVE AT ARDSLEY PARK

In May of 1947 a new housing development was announced to be built on Abercorn Street.  The project called “Abercorn Terrace” consisted of 17 new buildings with 148 apartments.

The design and site planning was a joint venture between Oscar M. Hansen, Architect, and Levy & Kiley Architects of Savannah.

Twelve existing buildings have been renovated and 13 new buildings constructed to provide a total of 185 apartments and an amenity building with a swimming pool.

Hansen is pleased to be the architect of the renovation of the existing units, designed by the firm’s founder 75 years ago.  The renovation is part of the new housing development that has provided much needed housing in Savannah’s mid-town.
