Savannah Technical College
Hansen Architects provided architectural services for the Student Enrichment Center, Academic Commons, and Goodman Hall on the Savannah Technical College’s Savannah campus. Goodman Hall, which houses the cosmetology, culinary arts, and dental hygiene programs, included a 10,700 square feet renovation and 7,500 square feet of new construction for an addition. The Academic Commons Building was 55,500 square feet of new construction. This facility has 26 classrooms, seminar rooms, and multiple faculty offices. The Student Enrichment facility offers areas for individual and group tutoring, learning assistance, and career counseling for at-risk public school students. The Student Enrichment Center includes 3 Computer Classrooms, 6 Lecture Classrooms, a research library lab space, and 11 tutorial/study rooms. A subsequent addition was later added, providing 3 new classrooms and administrative support areas.
